Delores Ann (Heacock) Gehrke, age 75, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at 1:13 a.m. at United Hospice Service in Marlette, MI.

She was born on December 13, 1950, in Highland Park, Michigan, and graduated from Kingston High School in 1969.

Delores was preceded in death by her father, Donald Heacock; her mother, Annie Doreen(Williams) Heacock;  father in law, Henry Gehrke; her daughter in law, Heather; her grandson, Michael; her brother, Michael Heacock; and her brothers in law, Michael Brandenburg and Michael Gehrke.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Ernest Gehrke, of North Branch, and by her children: Brian (Jill) Gehrke, Joe (Jessica) Gehrke, James (Erin) Gehrke, Aaron Gehrke, Robert Gehrke, and Laura Gehrke. She is also survived by her mother in law, Lillian Gehrke; her sister, Janet (Rod) Sommerfield; her sister in law, Linda Heacock; her sister, Donna Brandenburg; her brother, Gary (Coleen); her brother, David (Debra); her sister in law, Debbie (Larry) Gehrke Gordier; her brother in law, Paul (Cindy) Gehrke; and many nieces and nephews.

Delores is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Ethan, Isaiah, Seth Gehrke, Mackenzie (Franklin) Sharbaugh, Hunter (Isabella) Gehrke, Jacob, Tyler Gehrke, Lexie (Caiden) Cutter, Jackson, Scarlett, Grace Gehrke, and Emma Gehrke; her greatgrandchildren, Jasper and Baby Gehrke; and family friend, Taylor.

She will be remembered for her laughter, creativity, caring heart, deep faith, and the love she shared so freely with others.

Visitation will be held at Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home in Mount Clemens on Tuesday, May 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 13, a brief visitation will take place at Bethany Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the church.

Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Park in Troy, MI.
