Dean Joseph Mroz, age 70 of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday morning at Shelby Health Center, Shelby Township.

He was born October 18, 1954 to Edwin and Anna Mroz in Warren, Michigan. On July 14, 1979 Dean was married to Anne E. Mette at St. Julianna Catholic Church, Detroit.

Mr. Mroz was a self employed carpenter. Dean enjoyed camping,  watching motocross, watching the Detroit Lions, and playing frisbee with his dogs, Zeke, Koda, Scooter and his four legged "granddaughter", Daisy.

Surviving is his wife, Anne; son, Dean Justin Mroz; sister, Cathy Michayluk, and brother, Dale Mroz. Dean was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Anna.

Visiting hours are 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
