Dawn Sherrie Mazzola, age 64 of Columbus Township, passed away Wednesday evening at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.

She was born January 9, 1961 to Joanne (Luedtke) and Kenneth Peebles in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On November 7, 1998 Dawn was united in marriage with Christopher J. Mazzola at a Wedding Chapel in Fraser, Michigan.

Dawn was employed for 18 years by SVS Vision in Mount Clemens. She enjoyed shopping with her sister, boating and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Christopher; siblings, David (Christina) Witt and Fawn (Bill) Koles, and several nieces and nephews. Dawn was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Peebles; mother, Joanne Witt; step father, Harvey Witt and brother, Michael Peebles.

Memorial visiting hours will be from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
