David Michael Yates, age 56 of Clinton Township, passed away February 24, 2023 at his home. He was born November 12, 1966 to Rose (Greer) and Michael Yates in Detroit, Michigan.

David was employed as a technician at the Chrysler Tech Center for 25 years. He enjoyed building and restoring cars. David was a devout christian, who had a deep love for his faith in God, and was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Clinton Township.

Surviving are his daughters, Kateland (Yates) Teems, Kellsie Yates (Matthew) Evans and Stephanie (Zach Jackson) Yates; grandchildren, Savannah and Waylen Teems, Eliana Evans, Mason and Liam Jackson; his parents, Michael and Rose Yates; brother, James (Kryssi) Yates, and the mother of his children, Diane Haase.

A celebration of David's life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 21400 South Nunneley, Clinton Township, MI 48035
