David Michael Lapham

Mr. David M. Lapham, age 63 of Clay Township, passed away on Friday at McLaren-Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

He was born on November 23, 1960 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, a son of the late Alan and Olieva (Beachard) Lapham. On August 27, 2011, David was united in marriage with Melissa Lawson in New Baltimore, Michigan. David had worked as a dry wall installer. He enjoyed being with his family and doing home improvement, and especially riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

David is survived by his wife, Melissa, 4 children, Terra Chamberlin, David Lapham Jr, Shannon Lapham and Beth (Darin) Abernathy, 10 grandchildren and 3 siblings, Darlene (Lyle) Snay, Alan (Angie) Lapham and John Lapham. He was predeceased by many siblings.

Visiting hours are on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Christopher Steinle officiating. Private burial will follow at Meade Cemetery, Macomb Township. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
