David W. Jones, age 83 of Oscoda, a former longtime  resident of Mount Clemens, passed away at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township. He was born November 20, 1940 to Earl and Edith (Werth) Jones in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

David was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Mount Clemens. He was a co-owner of J. Brothers Excavating and worked as a  greens superintendent  at Greystone Golf Club. Mr. Jones was a life member and past president of the Juggle Up Club and loved spending time at his home in Oscoda.

Surviving are his children, David (Jeanine) Jones, Patrick Jones and Lisa (Al) Czarnik; grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Jeremy, Karic and Rory; great grandchildren, Lincoln, Colton, Lillian, Morgan, Ruby, Deacon and Isla, and sister, Linda (Dave) Springer.

David was predeceased by wives, Mary and Karen, and siblings, Gary Jones, Mike Jones, Bob Jones, Marilyn Baumgarten, Joyce Redman, Verne Jones and Joanne Basler.

Visiting hours are 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. (visiting to begin at 9:30) Friday, February 16, 2024 at the funeral home.
