Cynthia Anne Barney, age 57 of Sterling Heights, passed away March 7, 2018 at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.
Cindy was a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her parents, Philip and Mary Anne Windsor, her brothers, Philip and Mick Windsor and sisters, Teri (Tom) Brisse and Chris (Gino) Petitta, her husband, Rob, her three sons, John (Amy), Michael (Rita), and Danny (Salei) Crank. She was a proud grandmother to Cameron, Reese, Christian, Brayden and Chloe.
Her greatest love in life was her husband Rob. They loved each other fiercely and selflessly. Giving everything they had to each other. Building their lives together and raising 3 amazing men.
Her greatest pride in life was raising her 3 sons. She was proud of their many successes; when they overcame their personal challenges; but mostly of the amazing people they have become and the lives they had made for themselves.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. They lit up her world and they each adored her. She had a special relationship with each of them, always providing exactly the kind of love they needed. She spoiled them with special treats, gifts and so, so much love.
Cindy was the rock for so many. She could always be counted out to lend an ear or give advice. She lived her life selflessly, taking care of those around her with an effortless ease. Never giving a second thought to her own needs.
We loved her and we lost her too soon. Our hearts will forever be imprinted with her love. Our minds will forever be etched with her memory.
Our time together was too short and we will never be ready to let her go. But all we hope for now is that she can guide us from afar, watch over us and know without a doubt how fiercely and completely she was loved.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude for Children's Hospital.
