Duynslager, Connie Wanda, (Resmer), 93, of Fairview, passed away November 5, 2026. Connie was born in Detroit in 1933. She was a graduate of Mt. Clemens High School in 1951. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio. Her excellent phone manners, organizational, and accounting skills made her the best office manager and secretary at IronRite and Martha T. Berry Hospital in Mt. Clemens. Connie was an avid birdwatcher and Gardner. Bowling with Amiel and friends was one of her favorite activities. She also enjoyed traveling Michigan and camping with family. When family was in town, she could be persuaded to visit a casino, now and then. Her patience with children made her an excellent mom and Girl Scout Leader. Connie was predeceased by Amiel, her husband of 67 years. She is survived by sons Scott and Lee (Ivette), daughters Brenda Carufel, Amy Yager (Jeff), Beth (Devon Cornelius), and Lisa; three grandchildren Laura Hock (David), Jake Carufel (Autumn), Steve Yager (Brittany); and four great-grand children. A burial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, 43755 Elizabeth Road, Clinton Township, MI.
