Colleen B. Champine age 67 of St. Clair Shores, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 6, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 2, 1954 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, a daughter of the late Wayne and Pauline (Curtis) Champine. She had worked as a Registered Nurse at the ER at Detroit Receiving Hospital.

Loving mother of Joseph, sister to Linda, Kathy, Paula and Wayne; Cita to Kameryn and Jordan, mother-in-law to Kristin, nurse, friend and colleague. Whether it was love, tenderness, care, blunt honesty or all the above, Colleen filled all of these roles. Even though nursing and Detroit Receiving Hospital was her passion, her heart and soul were her two granddaughters.

Above all, she touched lives, and that is why she is remembered and loved so fondly.

Visiting hours are on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.
