Clifford Kenneth Batkins Jr., age 66 of Fraser, passed away April 4, 2021 at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens.

He was born July 3, 1954 to Gladys (Pruehs) and Clifford Batkins Sr. in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On June 21, 1997 Cliff was united in marriage with the former Catherine R. Chisholm at the Little Wedding Chapel.

Cliff was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, and was employed for over 20 years by the City of Mount Clemens. He enjoyed cooking, watching NASCAR racing and classical movies, and especially loved taking care of his family.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine "Carrie"; daughters, Julie Basilisco and Irene (John) Scott; grandchildren, Julia Kalchert, Jacob Kalchert and Eliana Scott; his mother, Gladys Batkins, and siblings, Charlotte James, Gail (David) Reinhartsen and Nona (Thomas) McKay. Cliff was predeceased by his father, Clifford Sr. and brother in law, Edwin James.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
