Claudette E. Baron, age 89 of Chesterfield, passed away Sunday morning at her home.

She was born November 22, 1934 to  Dora Cleo (McAlister) and Arthur C. Prince in Tennessee. On May 5, 1951 Claudette was united in marriage with Richard F. Baron in Roseville, Michigan.

Claudette was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens, and the Red Hatters. She enjoyed making and selling jewelry, paintings, stained glass, and crocheting.

Surviving are her children, Richard "Rikki" Baron, Mickey (Julie) Baron, Steven (Denise) Baron and Christina Blonde; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, with two on the way, and siblings, Charlotte Schneider and Colin (Denise) Germain. Claudette was predeceased by her husband, Richard; son, Christopher; grandchildren, Shawnee Baron and Amanda Lorenzo (Baron); son in law, Duane Blonde, and sister, Carol Suwinski.

Visiting hours will be held from 3:00 p.m. until  9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral mass 10:00 a.m. (in state 9:30), Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with Father Christopher Muir officiating.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
