Mrs. Christine Kaye Wondero, age 53 of Mount Clemens, passed away unexpectedly on Friday.
She was born on September 1, 1963 in Mount Clemens, a daughter of Albert and Ruth (Eckhout) D'Hondt. On August 29, 1991, Christine was united in marriage with John Wondero in Warren. Christine lived her life for those that she loved.
Christine had attended St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens.
Surviving are her husband, John and three children, Rachele (Aaron) Keyes, David Wondero and Alexandra Wondero; two grandchildren, Kylie and Kendall Keyes; her mother, Ruth D'Hondt; seven siblings, Edward (Sally) D'Hondt, Charlene (Terry) Johnson, Vicki (Paul) Sanfield, Karen Meade, Gary (Theresa) D'Hondt, Bonnie (Joseph) Tompkins and Linda (Phillip) Roberts. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Christine was predeceased by her father, Albert D'Hondt.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. (in state 9:00 a.m.) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township.
