Christine Burnett, 65, of Clinton Township died August 7, 2019. She

was born in Chicago, IL and received her bachelor's degree from

Southern Illinois University and took graduate courses at Oakland

University and Saginaw Valley State University.  She taught grade

school in Algonac  before teaching grade and middle school in Mount

Clemens for over 20 years.

She is survived by two children, Nathan and his husband Philip of

Somerville, MA and Nora and her husband Scott of Laingsburg, MI, two

grandchildren, Daniel and Bryan, and her longtime partner Jim of Port

Huron.

A private memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Engine House in Mt. Clemens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Turning Point of Mt. Clemens.
