Charles Joseph Walsh, age 69 of Clinton Township, passed away early Wednesday morning at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.
He was born June 13, 1948 to William and Marcella (Phelps) Walsh in Detroit, Michigan. On November 22, 1986 Charles married Priscilla A. (Sawicki) Lehto in Clinton Township.
Mr. Walsh served in the United States Army, and was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the AmVets, and enjoyed watching U of M Football, listening to "oldies" music, and loved being with his dogs.
Charles is survived by his children, Angela (Kris) Krug, Anthony Lehto, Liane (Eric) Howey; grandchildren, Scott, Sydney, Joseph, Joshua, Nathan, Trystin, Natalie, Connor; great grandchild, Bishop; brothers, Lawrence Walsh and Michael Walsh. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Priscilla; son, Jason Lehto, and brother, Kenneth Walsh.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, under the direction of Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens.
