Charles Felix Hart

Mr. Charles F. Hart, age 75 of Harrison Township, passed away Thursday evening at his home.
He was born on May 22, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Charles and Felicia (Osowski) Hart. On January 10, 1969, Charles was united in marriage to Julie Buchman in St. Hubert Catholic Church in Harrison Township.
Charlie retired as a Captain of the Harrison Township Fire Department. He served in Vietnam with the United States Army and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting.
Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Julie; two children, Gretchen (Mark) McCoy and Charles (Alexandria) Hart; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Autumn, Sebastian and Summer.
Visiting hours on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (in state at 10:30 a.m.) at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 38775 Prentiss (at Metro Parkway), Harrison Township with the Reverend Father William Petron officiating. Private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Hubert's Knights of Columbus, or the Harrison Township Firefighter Local 1737.
