Charles Edward Coppins, age 79 of Mount Clemens, passed away early Monday morning at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township. He was born May 8, 1937 to Ogden and Ruth (Dalton) Coppins in East Detroit, Michigan. On July 8, 1967 Charles was united in marriage with Marilyn Smith in Mount Clemens. Mr. Coppins served as a rifleman in the United States Army while he was stationed in Panama. He retired from Russ Milne Ford where he worked for many years as a new car salesman. Charles was a member of the Old Crowd and Juggle Up Club, and enjoyed boating, fishing and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Patricia Jones and Cheryl (Sean) Cox; grandchildren, Devin, Zach, Keegan and Grace; great grandchild, Rylee, and brothers, James (Beverly) Coppins and Gerald (Virginia) Coppins.
