Carol Wancket, age 79 of Macomb, passed away Thursday afternoon at Church of Christ Nursing Center, Clinton Township.

She was born July 5, 1939 to Carl and Anna (Ostapovitch) Michayluk in Sterling Township, Michigan. On March 1, 1958 Carol was united in marriage with Marcel Wancket at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens.

Mrs. Wancket was employed on and off as a bookkeeper for almost 30 years. She loved caring for her grandchildren and great grandchild.

Surviving is her husband, Marcel Sr.; sons, Marcel (Julieane) Wancket Jr. and Ronald Wancket; grandchildren, Christina and Lisa; great grandchild, Lucy, and siblings, Pat (Al) Kollmorgen, Mary (Ed) Nelson, Shelly Piper, Michael (Vicki) Michayluk and Nancy Best. Carol was predeceased by her siblings, Connie Koch, Dolly Gallagher, Carl "Teeko" Michayluk and Sandra Bora.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service time of 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
