Carol Lee Lester, age 79 of Algonac, passed away February 15, 2026 at Belmar Oakland Assisted Living, Troy. She was born June 12, 1946 to Ramona (Books) and Albert Wriska in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Carol was employed for many years as a court clerk for the Macomb County Circuit Court. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1269, also tended bar at the Eagles, and enjoyed bowling, going to bowling tournaments with her friends, spending time up north with her grandkids, and was a very social person, who loved being with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Robert; daughter, Donna (Dave) Baumgarten; son, Larry (Krista) Lavely, and grandchildren, Tyler Kristoff, Nikolas Kristoff, Alyssa Baumgarten, Piper Baumgarten, Josh Lavely, Gabe Lavely and Ellee Lavely. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ramona Wriska.

Visiting hours will be from 12:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Carol's family invites you to join them for an early dinner in her honor at 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Testa Barra Restaurant (SE corner of 22 mile and Romeo Plank, Macomb).
