Carol Sue Hand, age 79 of Chesterfield, passed away December 25, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 14, 1941 to Ruby M. (Barnes) and Forest W. Seamans Sr. in Harrison Township, Michigan. On November 14, 1986 Carol was married to Gary E. Hand at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Harrison Township.

Carol was part of the first graduating class at L'Anse Creuse High School, Harrison Township in 1959. She was employed as an office manager for 27 years at VanHollenbeck Beer Distributorship, Mount Clemens and worked for 29 years in the pro shop at Michigan Meadows Golf Course. Mrs. Hand was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Macomb, and enjoyed playing golf, cards and bowling.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Scott Thomas Pardon and Kari Jo (James) Schafer; three grandchildren, Taylor, Julia and Zachary Schafer; siblings, Kenny (Carol) Seamans, Barbara Meldrum, James (Janet) Seamans and Keith (Kathleen) Seamans; sister in law, Eileen Seamans, many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Forest and Ruby; brothers, Gary Seamans and Forest Seamans Jr., and sisters, Fayetta Alore, Colleen D'Alessandro and Martha Dellagnea.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
