Candace "Candy"
Job
May 13, 1950 — Apr 14, 2026
Candace "Candy" Stevens Job, age 75, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026.
Born on May 13, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, Candy was the beloved daughter of Russell and Bettie Stevens. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Clemens and held a deep love for her community and knew many people in Mt. Clemens.
Candy will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and unmistakable sense of style. She had a special way of making everything around her feel beautiful and welcoming—from her thoughtfully decorated home to the carefully set tables that brought people together. She found her greatest joy in her family, especially in the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
An exceptional baker, Candy rarely arrived anywhere empty-handed, often bringing along something homemade to share. She loved to create, whether through crafting, decorating, or preparing for her cherished pottery luncheons—moments that brought her so much happiness and connection with others.
She is survived by her loving children, Melissa (Jim) Sands, Matthew (Kate) McCreary, Manda (Mike) Moore, and Lindsay (Derek) Fitzpatrick; her ten adored grandchildren, Jordan (Ryan), Madeline, Luke, Matthew, Christian, Caroline, Camille, Miriam, Conor, and Claire; her great-grandchild, Bobby James; her lifelong best friend, Bobette Dodge; and many dear friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Bettie Stevens; her sister, Cynthia Hedrick; and her brother, Russ Stevens.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Mt. Clemens United Methodist Church, 57 Southbound Gratiot Avenue, Mt. Clemens, MI 48043.
Candy's love, generosity, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Clemens United Methodist Church.
