Bruce S. Steeves of Thompsonville, Michigan died on November 1st, 2021 at age 82.

In keeping with Bruce's wishes, cremation has been arranged through Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. A memorial gathering with friends and family is scheduled for December 4th, 2021 at the Laughing Horse Saloon, 15888 Lindy Road, Thompsonville, Michigan.

Born in Ferndale, Michigan to Finley and Ida Steeves on February 23, 1939. Predeceased by his siblings Eugene Cline, Louise Davis and Allen Steeves, and brother to Evelyn Major and Rommie Threatt. Married to loving wife Bonnie Seale Steeve, of 28 years, on September 3rd, 1993. Loving father to his three children Michael Steeves, Michelle and Jamie Krupa and Melissa Holstine and grandfather to his four grandchildren Paige Holstine, Josua Doan, Spencer Steeves and Megan Krupa.

Bruce cherished every one of his friends and loved them as his family, from the UAW to the camping club and beyond.

Bruce was a staunch United Auto Workers of America (UAW) member and officer for many years. He served as an elected officer of the Amalgamated UAW Local 155 from 1978 to 1998 when he went on staff at the International UAW in Detroit, Michigan. Bruce retired from the International UAW in 2004 and continued his dedication and service to the UAW Retired Workers Council of Traverse City, Michigan until his untimely death in November 2021.

Bruce will always be remembered and remain in our hearts as an extremely intelligent, infectiously humorous and loving man.
