Betty Jayne Brown, age 83 of Harrison Township, passed away May 2, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 28, 1939 to Ed and Eleanor (Fisher) Borgula in Casnovia, Michigan. On July 8, 1961 Betty was united in marriage with Robert Michael Brown at Grace United Methodist Church, Detroit.

Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mount Clemens and the Red Hats. She was a former member and Deacon at First Presbyterian Church, Mount Clemens. Betty volunteered her time at the Salvation Army and Bon Secours Hospital, Grosse Pointe.

She enjoyed golfing, sewing and was a fabulous cook. Betty especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Robert; children, Linda (Bob) Armiak and David (Shannon) Brown; grandchildren, Heather, Alyssa, Rob, Sarah, Emily, Katie and Amanda, and great grandson, Luka. Betty was predeceased by brothers, Dick and Frank Borgula.

Memorial visiting hours will be from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
