Mrs. Beatrice Mae Stark, age 91 of Clinton Township, passed away Saturday morning.

She was born on May 15, 1926 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of the late Martin and Clara (Schott) Collins. Beatrice was united in marriage with William Kenneth Stark on October 4, 1947 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Mount Clemens, and have lived at her present address since 1964. Mr. Stark passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2002.
Beatrice co-owned with her sons Stark's Service and Hardware on Cass Avenue in Mount Clemens since 1950. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton Township. She loved her church, enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos, the Detroit Tigers, and cold beer and blackberry brandy.

Mrs. Stark is survived by her six children, Diane (Leonard) Bertrand, William M. (Linda) Stark, Glen (Deborah) Stark, Sandra (Daniel) Rocker, Kenneth (Lisa) Stark and Joan (Larry) Vandeberghe; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Beatrice was predeceased by a brother, Martin Collins.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 2 - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00 a.m.) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper Avenue (south of Crocker Boulevard), Clinton Township with the Reverend Gary Richard officiating. Entombment will follow at Clinton Grove Memorial Park Cemetery in Clinton Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Trinity Lutheran Church of Clinton Township, the Salvation Army, or the Care Team for Hospice.
