Beatice Viola Malear

Beatrice V. Malear, age 88 of Clinton Township, passed away on Thursday morning at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital-Warren.

She was born on October 11, 1932 in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Edmire (Ouellette) Meldrum.

Beatrice had worked in the unemployment department for the State of Michigan. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township.

Mrs. Malear is survived by her son, Edward Malear and her sister, Loretta Bishop, and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City Heart Ministries, Douglas Malear Pastor, 2731 Peck Street, Muskegon Heights, MI 48444.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 am (in state at 9:30am) at St. Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker Boulevard, Clinton Township, Michigan 48036 with the Reverend Father William Siebert officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in New Baltimore.
