Mrs. Barbara Ann Dandurand, age 92 of Mount Clemens, passed away on Thursday morning at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.

She was born on August 16, 1930 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of the late Glenn and Sylvia (Spear) Jones. On January 30, 1954, Barbara was united in marriage with Richard Duane Dandurand at St. Peter Catholic Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. Mr. Dandurand passed away on Saturday, December 16, 1995 in Harrison Township.

Barbara was a life long member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Alter Society. She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, knitting, attending church events and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and gambling at the casinos.

Barbara went by many special names that each person uniquely had for her: Grandma Bingo, Blue, Dingy and Bibby.

Barbara is survived by 5 children, Julie (Michael) Kelly, Jody (Michael) Shelton, Sue (Mark) MacDonald, James (Lynn) Dandurand and Donald Dandurand; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by daughter, Janice Harris, son, Joseph Dandurand and grandson, Steven Roberts, and several siblings.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:30 am (viewing at 10:30 am) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father John Maksym officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township.
