Arnold Alfred Kling, Jr. departed this life on Monday, January 24 at the age of 71. He was born April 11, 1950 to Arnold and Marjorie Kling. A lifelong resident of Mount Clemens, he was a 1968 graduate of Mount Clemens High School, where he played football.

Arnie joined the Army after graduation during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked at Ford Motor Company Utica Trim for 38 years, where he made lots of great friends whom he stayed connected to until the very end. Arnie made lasting connections across the community:from the store where he played his lottery numbers to the doctor's offices, and even the dog groomer.

A longtime faithful member of North Broadway Church of Christ, Arnie never missed a service. He often posted up in the sound room. Arnie was very outspoken, and you never knew what might come out of his mouth…even at church!

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Adarius (LaKata); stepchildren Isha, Reve' and Derrick (Phyllis); sisters Rose (Herb) and Lorraine; former wife, Gloria and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold Sr. and Marjorie, and his first wife Barbara.
