Anna W. Kemmer, age 81 of Sterling Heights, joined her husband and son in heaven July 19, 2016.
She was born June 20, 1935 to Anton and Anna (Merschdorf) Wunsch in Setschan, Yugoslavia. In 1957 Anna married Franz Kemmer. In 1969 the couple moved to Sterling Heights, where they built their home and thrived.
Mrs. Kemmer was a member of St. Blase Catholic Church, Sterling Heights, St. Peter's Seniorenkreis, the Carpathia Frauen Gruppe and the choir at Carpathia.
Surviving are her children, Anne Marie (Mark) Teutsch, Heidi Dorsch and Edward (Lynn) Kemmer; grandchildren, Amber (Joseph) Pawlak, Aaron (Jodi) Teutsch, Christopher (Danielle) Kemmer, Stephanie Kemmer, Jessica Dorsch, Cory (Jenny) Dorsch, Adam Kemmer and Melissa Kemmer; great grandchildren, Dane, Cade and Bryn Pawlak, and Sophia Teutsch, and brother, Josef (Ann) Wunsch. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Franz; son, Frank; son in law, William Dorsch, and brother, Peter Wunsch.
Visiting hours are 1 - 4 and 6 - 9p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2015 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Funeral service at Noon, Friday at the funeral home with Reverend Jamie Stamm officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
