Obituary

Anita Louise Frederick (Farah) age 71 of Clinton Township, passed away in her home on April 1, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. She was born (1948) to George and Rita (Nilan) Farah, raised in Mount Clemens, and graduated from St. Mary's High School (1966).

Anita married Frederick Miller on October 27, 1984. Faith, family, and community were the center of her life. She and Fred entertained frequently in their home, hosting annual family reunions, birthday parties, high school reunions, and virtually all major holidays. A lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a Eucharistic Minister, she delivered Holy Communion to the homebound, volunteered at church functions, and was open in her faith and love for her Savior Jesus Christ.

She enjoyed lifelong, close friendships, including those with her St. Mary's classmates. She actively supported those less fortunate, with a passion for child and animal welfare. Always available when needed, fiercely loyal and generous, she was actively involved in local Kiwanis charities, including weekly food deliveries to those in need, and Daughters of Macomb. She enjoyed painting, sculpting, gardening, and decorating.

She is survived by her loving husband Fred, stepdaughters, Theresa Miller, Elizabeth Miller (Gregory Hixon), Laura Miller (Anders Soderberg), grandchildren Jessica, Ian, Alexandra, Stella and Freddy, brothers Gary, Joseph, Michael (Margrette), Kevin, and so many nieces, nephews, and cousins from her big, glorious, extended family! Anita has joined her sister, Mary Dean, parents, and many relatives in Heaven.

Anita's family extends sincere appreciation for your prayers & support, and welcomes all to share fond memories on Anita's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/anita.l.frederick

Due to gathering restrictions, a private burial will occur at St. Peter Cemetery in Mount Clemens, MI. A joyous celebration of Anita's life will follow as soon as we can laugh, praise, dance, and hug each other again!
