Angeline Jeanette Pizzurro, age 93 of Macomb, passed away Friday evening at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren.

She was born July 22, 1927, the first child of Andrew and Mary (Chizma) Powshok in Detroit, Michigan.

As a child, after completing her elementary school schedule, she attended Ukranian school to learn about her heritage. Angeline graduated Chadsey High School in 1944.

On June 22, 1946 Angeline was united in marriage with Peter F. Pizzurro at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Detroit.

Angeline was a member of the American Legion Post #394 Women's Auxiliary, where she served as a past President. Angie, as she was known, was employed at National Bank of Detroit, Main Office and retired as a Department Supervisor after 24 years.

Family was the most important  part of Angeline's life.

She is survived by her children,  daughter, Veighann Pizzurro of Indio, California, sons, Frank (Maryann) Pizzurro, Peter F. (Sheri) Pizzurro Jr., David (Ruth) Pizzurro; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her younger brother, Andrew Powshok of West Melbourne, Florida, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins,  Angeline is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Peter (2009), and her younger sister, Rose Galloway (1993).

Private services were held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Clinton Grove Cemetery.  Please no flowers, It was Angeline's request that the service be simple.  She wished only to be remembered.
