Alfred B. Green, age 87 of Clinton Township, passed away Wednesday morning at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.
He was born July 12, 1929 to Arthur and Helen (Bathey) Green in Port Huron, Michigan. On August 19, 1953 Alfred married Mary Ann (Fresard).
Mr. Green was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea. He was employed for many years at Causley Pontiac in Grosse Pointe and Clinton Township. Alfred was a member of the Wertz Warriors for Special Olympics and the SANG Base Community Council, and enjoyed snowmobiling.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann; children, Paula (Jack) Molter and Scott (Cathie) Green; grandchildren, Leslie Mead, Adam Molter, Bradley Molter, Austin Green and Nathan Green; great grandchildren, Jackson, Ella, Justin, Breann and Caleb; sister, Neva (James) Sheer and sister in law, Betty Green. Alfred was predeceased by 10 siblings.
Visiting hours are from 1 - 6 p.m., with a 5:00 p.m. funeral service, Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wertz Warriors or Special Olympics.
