Albert John Lochbihler, age 64 of New Haven, passed away September 30, 2016 at McLaren Macomb.
He was born September 30, 1952 to Edward J. and Helen R. (Kaczmark) Lochbihler in Detroit, Michigan. On March 15, 1975 Albert married Lynn Meike in Warren, Michigan.
Mr. Lochbihler was employed as a truck driver for over 30 years, driving for Carolina, Interstate and retired in 2009 after 26 years at ABF. He enjoyed sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Red Wings, and U of M Football. Albert loved being with his family, and was known by his grandchildren as "Pup" and "Pupster," and his nieces and nephews as "Uncle Al the Kiddies Pal."
He is survived by wife, Lynn; son, John Lochbihler; daughter, Jessica Lochbihler; grandchildren, Zae'na Thacker and Deon Thacker; nephews, Edward Lochbihler, George and Joseph Kaczmark, and a host of many nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by siblings, Joseph Kaczmark, Edward Lochbihler and Katherine Lochbihler.
Visiting hours are 1:30 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 with a celebration of life service at 4:00 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
