Fae Eleanor Mushinski

Mrs. Fae E. Mushinski, age 91 of Oakley (Brady Township), Michigan, passed away Tuesday morning at her home. She was born on March 3, 1921 in Boyne City, Michigan a daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Wilder) Wandell. In 1939, Fae was married to James McLarty until his death. Later, she was united in marriage with Joseph Mushinski on May 26, 1951 in L’Anse, Michigan. Joe passed away April 5, 1987 in Macomb Township. Fae was a former member of Macomb Baptist Church, Garfield Baptist Church, Memorial Baptist Church and, and attended Oakley Community Church. She enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, gardening and studying her Bible. Fae loved her children, grand and great grandchildren and her Lord. Mrs. Mushinski is survived by her son, James (Beth) McLarty, daughter, Crystal (Robert) Oikarinen; sister, Erma Lydman-Schdaedig; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Fae was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Cook, granddaughter, Melanie McLarty and five siblings. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens with Pastor Bob Cosand of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton Township. The visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
